Live Acoustic Music
If you've thought about having live music for your wedding ceremony, we work this into your ceremony plan with your Celebrant be it Haley or another of your choosing, and it adds a beautiful and entertaining element for all involved. I offer layed options and timeframes from ceremony only through to all day packages. I offer solo, duo, trio and Full band.
My style of music is bluesy, soft rock, folk, country, funky vibes, and i love the classics! I stick to covers that everyone knows, so they can't help but sing along, tap their feet, and if I'm sticking around later into your evening, having a dance! I offer acoustic guitar, harmonica and vocals.

Although completely customisable, below is what i recommend to get the best from your live music:
I usually begin playing around 30 minutes before the ceremony, setting the mood as guests arrive. For your aisle moment, I’ll perform your chosen song live, or we can play the original through our PA if you’d prefer. During the signing, I’ll keep the energy flowing with a couple of songs, then lift the vibe with something upbeat as you’re announced as newlyweds.
After the ceremony, I continue playing while you and your guests mingle—creating a live, joyful atmosphere that a playlist simply can’t match. From there, I’ll move as needed and keep performing until our agreed finish time. I recommend considering my DUO option for post ceremony, or even my full band for your reception! The Sugar Whiskey band came to life after being asked time and time again if I offered a full band service. And so what was there to do, but give the people want they wanted!
Not your average cover band by any means! We prioritise a high standard of music, all the while offering an entertaining performance to keep you and your guests dancing, toe tapping and singing along for the whole event, performing well known songs from all eras and genres, so there's something for everyone.
We will tailor your set lists to be in line with your event, and timeline. We also know and value the importance of quality sound, and so we included professional and high quality sound & lighting equipment
